A training program on thermal design and simulation technology for electronic equipment held by NBEIC

On August 15 and August 16, over 70 attendees in terms of general managers and technicians of small and medium enterprises of the electronic information manufacturing industry in Ningbo participated in the 2-day training program on thermal design and simulation technology for electronic equipment. Experts, such as Gao Cuizhuo, Senior Technician of Research Institute X of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, served as speaker teachers on detailed introduction of thermal design, simulation technology and LED technology for electronic equipment. Interactions are quite enthusiastic and the program was extremely beneficial.
Thermal design and simulation technology for electronic equipment is a newly developed discipline for controlling of rising temperature from electronic components and equipments. In order to ensure the reliability of electronic components and products under high temperature, thermal design is of great importance. As for the traditional thermal design, it is just a make-up means, replying too much on designers’ experience and accounting for too much calculation requires a long time for research and development and high costs as well. While to introduce simulation technology into thermal design for electronic products makes it quite easy to figure out whether the design is suitable for heat reliability before production of samples, taking less time for research and development, lowering the cost and improve pass rate of products.
Grasping thermal design and simulation technology for electronic equipment is of great help in enhancing equipments’ reliability, saving research and development time, improving working efficiency and improving technicians’ design capabilities.
