A delegation led by Director Lu Shan of Software & Integrated Circuit Promotion Center, MIIT, visits software enterprises in Ningbo

On May 13 and May 14, a delegation led by Lu Shan, Director of Software & Integrated Circuit Promotion Center, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, P.R.C. (CSIP), made a visit to Ningbo for investigation of development of software industry and integrated circuit industry. Chen Bingrong, Director of Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee, and representatives of Software Industrial Development Division and Electronic Division of Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee, met the delegation in a meeting and discussed with the delegation on how to develop a public service platform for the industry of Internet + and to support innovative development of smart industries, integrated circuit and software service industries in Ningbo by way of making full use of advantages of abundant service resources, service abilities and brand influence of the national public service platform, developed by CSIP.

The delegation visited Hefeng Creative Square, Software Park in Hi-tech Zone, Ningbo Zhongke Integrated Circuit Design Center, Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp. and TCL Mobile Communications Technology (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. and so on. Representatives of Software Industrial Development Division of Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee and Ningbo National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone accompanied the delegation for the visits.

Software & Integrated Circuit Promotion Center, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, P.R.C. (CSIP), a directly affiliated unit of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, P.R.C., is responsible for construction, maintenance, operation and management of a national public service platform for software and integrated circuit, boasts abundant equipment and high-end software and hardware environment and has cooperated with famous enterprises throughout the world on Linux system, embedded software, high performance computing and integrated design and set up 11 national labs, 14 technological innovation centers, 5 technology centers and 5 resource libraries. CSIP is now able to provide software and integrated circuit enterprises with public services in terms of general technology, intellectual property, talent training and investment and financing consultancy for the software and integrated circuit industries. CSIP has also developed public service brands of “China Chip” (for integrated circuit), “Huaxia (China) Engine” (for intellectual property) and “China Sourcing” (for software and information service outsourcing).
