Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of the light industry, textiles, food, salt, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices sectors, organizes the drafting and implementation of relevant plans, policies, technical standards, and specifications, and enforces industry regulations (access). Promotes the development of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry and manages municipal-level medical reserves. Oversees the promotion and development of traditional arts and crafts. Manages salt monopoly licensing and supervision, guides and regulates the production operations and safety management of salt enterprises, and oversees municipal-level salt reserves.
