The number of national industrial Internet pilot demonstration projects in Ningbo shortlisted in 2020 ranks the first in the Zhejiang Province

In recent years, Ningbo has been attaching great importance to the innovative development of new technologies, new models and new formats such as industrial internet, and makes systematic planning from a strategic and forward-looking perspective. This year, a total of 24 projects in Ningbo have been shortlisted as national pilot demonstration projects and outstanding cases in fields of industrial internet, big data, intelligent manufacturing, and integration of industrialization and information technological development. Among them, the Ningbo Industrial Internet platform Application Innovation Promotion Center, jointly submitted by 11 enterprises in our city, including the Zhejiang Bluetron, has been selected as one of the 3 national industrial internet platform application innovation promotion center projects approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China in 2020; the Zhejiang Bluetron itself is shortlisted on the list of pilot demonstration units for integrated development of the manufacturing industry and the Internet in 2020 among the only 15 national cross-industry and cross-region industrial internet platforms in China; 3 cases are recognized as national solutions to support epidemic prevention and control and resumption of work and production. Ningbo boasts 15 provincial industrial internet platforms in total, out of which 9 are newly established. Geely in the Ningbo Hangzhou Bay and Orient Cable are honored as one of the first provincial future factories in Zhejiang, while Youngor and Consinee have been included in the program of cultivating the first group of future factories. The innovative guidance of various pilot demonstration projects has effectively promoted the transformation and development of industrial enterprises in Ningbo from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing plus internet integration.

Facing the future, we will fully implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee and the important speeches made by general secretary Xi Jinping during his stay in Ningbo and Zhejiang for inspections, promote in-depth application of the new generation of information technologies, such as 5G, industrial internet, big data and artificial intelligence and so on in key industries and micro, small and medium enterprise while in accordance with the principle of “government guidance, market players, needs based, pilot projects first, key breakthroughs and ecological construction”, and focus on the 3-year action plan for intelligent technology transformation in manufacturing enterprises and the industrial internet development action plan, so as to promote industrial digital transformation and development in Ningbo.
