The Ningbo Economic and Information Technology System Work Conference held

In order to fully implement the spirit of the economic work conference of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee, and deeply implement the requirements of the teleconference on “a stable surge for the opening” of the provincial industrial economy and the work conference on promoting the innovative development of the manufacturing industry in Ningbo, the Ningbo Economic and Information Technology System Work Conference was held on January 20, summarizing the work that had been done in 2021, studying on tasks for 2022 and deploying tasks for a surge in the first quarter of this year.

Zhang Shifang, Director of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau attended the conference and delivered a speech. The conference was presided over by Gu Xia, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau. Leaders of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau as well as those major persons in charge of economic and information technology bureaus in all localities in Ningbo participated in the work conference.

At the conference, persons in charge of the economic and information technology bureaus in all localities in Ningbo made exchanges on measures for making sure of a surge in the first quarter of this year and major tasks to be done this year.

Zhang Shifang fully acknowledged the achievements that had been made by economic and information technology departments in all localities in Ningbo in 2021 and pointed out that all economic and information technology departments had thoroughly implemented a series of decisions and arrangements made by the CPC  Ningbo Municipal Committee and the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government on promoting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, striving to be the first to create excellence, and to overcome difficulties and make achievements. The total output value of industries above designated scale exceeded 2 trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 2.2 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 21.8%; the added value of industries above designated scale reached 486.5 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 11.9%. The main objectives and tasks of industrial economy in the whole year were successfully completed, bringing a favorable dynamic at the beginning of the 14^th Five-year Plan period.

Zhang Shifang emphasized that we should scientifically understand the uncertainty of global economic recovery and epidemic development, actively respond to the profound adjustment of the industrial chain and the supply chain, strive to transform structure, strengthen guarantee and optimize allocation, further boost enterprise confidence, reduce development costs and realize high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.

Zhang Shifang required that we should thoroughly implement the requirements deployed by the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, adhere to high goals and follow high requirements, highlight key points of work, and comprehensively implement them.

It’s also pointed out by Zhang Shifang that to realize a surge in the first quarter of this year is of great importance for doing a good job throughout the year. Economic and information technology departments in all localities in Ningbo should follow standards and stick to plans and requirements to shoulder responsibilities, strengthen operation monitoring, carry out in-depth activities to help enterprises realize a surge in the first quarter of the year, well learn enterprises’ situation, and encourage enterprises with conditions and orders to invite employees to stay with preferential terms to promote production during the Spring Festival and for a favorable surge in the first quarter of this year.

The conference also studied and deployed tasks for epidemic prevention and control, material support, workplace safety and so on.
