Ningbo White Paper on Blockchain Application officially released

Blockchain is profoundly changing production relations and becoming an important driving force for new scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform. On December 30, at the Ningbo Blockchain Industry Development Seminar, the Ningbo White Paper on Blockchain Application was officially released by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau. Wang Chuan, Chief Engineer of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, attended the releasing ceremony and delivered a speech.

Wang Chuan pointed out in his speech that Ningbo has already established a characteristic blockchain industrial park, introduced and independently cultivated 5 of the top 20 blockchain enterprises in China, and established or developing 40 municipal blockchain application projects. Among them, the blockchain projects of Ningbo Zhoushan Port and the Health Commission of Ningbo have been shortlisted for the national blockchain innovation and application pilot projects; the “Credible Deposit Certificate” of the Ningbo Standard Blockchain Research Institute has become the first national notarization alliance operation chain; Ningbo production chain of “Yongxinpei” has been listed on the “Top of the List” of digital society in the Zhejiang Province. For the next step, Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau will as always, vigorously promote the construction of blockchain industrial ecology, accelerate the integration and innovation of blockchain with a new generation of information technologies, such as 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet and so on, and fully support all kinds of blockchain enterprises to take root in Ningbo.

The White Paper outlines a clear development blueprint for Ningbo blockchain industry from the aspects of blockchain policy environment, application system, development foundation, future outlook and layout of Ningbo and so on.
