The Symposium on the Creation of Famous Software Parks held by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau

In order to promote the centralized development of the software industry, accelerate the construction of software parks in our city, and actively create provincial-level and national-level software parks, on February 9, the Symposium on the Creation of Famous Software Parks was held by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, so as to extensively carry out researches and provide problem-solving services for the construction of software parks. Wang Chuan, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, attended the symposium and went to visit key software enterprises in the High-tech Zone to carry out researches on the "good and stable" development in the first quarter of this year.

At the symposium, the Software Division interpreted the Measures for the Management of China's Software Parks and the indicator system, and explained the preliminary ideas of the city's software industry park cultivation evaluation methods and park supporting policies. The principals of the software parks at the symposium expressed their opinions and suggestions in accordance with being an active participant in the evaluation as well as their own strengths and weaknesses.

Wang Chuan listened to the difficulties and demands put forward by the park representatives and made positive responses to the industrial layout, enclave policy and other issues reflected by the park representatives. Wang Chuan encouraged everyone to build confidence, brainstorm, and complement the weaknesses by comparing the indicators for creating famous software parks. At the same time, the district and county level economic and information systems should take industrial cultivation, park construction, and famous enterprise cultivation as the core work of the year. He stressed that the construction of the software parks should be based on the direction of characterization, specialization and branding, strengthen the public service platforms, and accelerate the gathering of talents and enterprises to the park. It's necessary to create a first-class business environment in the parks by combining services and ecology, to attract software enterprises with strong industrial driving force, and to actively strive to create famous provincial and national software parks.

After the meeting, Wang Chuan and his delegation came to the Ningbo Jiwang Science and Technology Information Co., Ltd. for investigation. The Jiwang Technology has focused on the research and development of intelligent factory solutions in the manufacturing industry for many years, and its "Jiwang J9-MES production and manufacturing execution system for aluminum die-casting manufacturing in the automotive industry" has been included in the list of outstanding industrial software products issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China in 2022. Wang Chuan visited the simulation exhibition hall of the enterprise's digital workshop and listened to the introduction of the person in charge of the development of the enterprise and the investment layout intention. In recent years, relying on several successful cases of digital transformation of the manufacturing industry in Ningbo, the enterprise has actively gone out and established branches in Suzhou, Chongqing, Dongguan and other places. Wang Chuan fully affirmed the development strategy of the enterprise to deeply explore the vertical industrial segment and actively explore the market outside of Ningbo. He conducted in-depth exchanges with the enterprise leaders centering on the development space, market expansion and other aspects, and encouraged the enterprise to further expand the market out of the city through various channels such as government organized group participation and develop the headquarters economy based in Ningbo.
