"New Vitality and New Guochao" Ningbo Historical Classic Industry Fine Products Exhibition held in the Art Museum of Zhejiang Wanli University

On October 28, the Ningbo Historical Classic Industry Fine Products Exhibition, hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau and the Zhejiang Wanli University, and undertaken by the Faculty of Design and Architecture of Zhejiang Wanli University, the Ningbo Municipal Arts and Crafts Industry Association, the Ningbo Arts and Crafts College, and the Ningbo Cultural and Creative Innovation Development Research Base, was grandly held at the Art Museum of Zhejiang Wanli University. Bian Yijun, Research Consultant Level I from the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Ma Jianrong, Vice Principal and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Wanli University, Chen Mingwei and Zhang Dehe, Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters, Ge Daojian, President of the Ningbo Arts and Crafts Association, and up to about 150 teachers and students of the Wanli University and representatives from the art world participated in the event.

In May of this year, the Ningbo Arts and Crafts College, jointly established by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau and the Zhejiang Wanli University, was officially established. This exhibition is an important activity carried out by the Ningbo Arts and Crafts College after its establishment, and is an innovative attempt of school-enterprise cooperation for industry-education-research integration. With the theme of "New Vitality and New Guochao", the exhibition uses modern multimedia technology to demonstrate the innovation and development of Ningbo's historical classic industries, highlight the vitality and new productive elements of the industry, and aims to enable young people to better understand and inherit Ningbo's excellent traditional crafts, boost the integration of university forces into enterprise development, combine traditional elements with modern aesthetics, develop more new products that meet market demand, further tap cultural values, and enhance product innovation.

This exhibition will last until January 12, 2025, and will be open to all teachers and students from the Wanli University for free. Participating masters will be invited to give on-site lectures, hold salon activities, have dialogues with young teachers and students, explain the connotations and meanings of the pieces of work, and share their artistic experiences. Through various means, the historical classic industry can be revitalized, transmitted, trended, strengthened, and popular, radiating youthful vitality in the new generation of life circle in Ningbo, and revitalizing the historical classic industry to empower the development of new productive forces.
