A delegation organized by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau to carry out industrial cooperation and communication in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture

To promote cooperation between Ningbo and the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in copper processing and rare earth magnetic materials industry, the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau organized a delegation consisting of the Ningbo New Materials Industry Association, the Jintian Copper Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., and the Magnetic Materials Application Technology Innovation Center Co., Ltd. to conduct inspection and communication in the Huili City and the Dechang County of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture from October 23 to October 25.

The inspection team visited the Kunpeng Copper Industry and the Cathode Copper Project in the Huili City, as well as the Dechang County Zhineng Rare Earth Co., Ltd. and the Shenghe Resources Co., Ltd., to gain a detailed understanding of the industrial foundation, business operations, and cooperation needs of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. They also had in-depth exchanges with enterprise leaders to explore effective ways and paths for cooperation for the next step. The inspection team also participated in a meeting organized by the Economic and Information Technology Bureau of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture for exchanges on cooperation between the two regions, listened to the introduction to the work of promoting industrial development by the Huili City, the Dechang County, and the Mianning County, and communicated and exchanged ideas on industrial cooperation issues.

Members of the inspection team said that based on the exchanges during this inspection, they will further sort out and explore entry points and convergence points of cooperation focusing on the advantages of copper, rare earth and other characteristic resources in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, strengthen the two-way interaction between government departments and enterprises, broaden the scope of cooperation, seek cooperation opportunities, and expand the industrial chain by gathering upstream and downstream enterprises, and do a good job in enhancing the scale agglomeration effect.
