Zhan Min, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang, leads a delegation to visit Ningbo for investigation and research

On October 30, Zhan Min, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang, led a delegation to visit Ningbo to investigate the development of industrial and digital economy, as well as the construction of the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. City leaders, including Li Guanding, Xu Yun, and Hua Bitian, as well as Wang Yidong, Director of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, participated in the event.

Director Zhan Min and the delegation successively inspected the Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company, the Haitian Group, the Lingfeng Industrial Community, the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, and the Novel Optics Co., Ltd., had face-to-face communication with responsible persons of these enterprises to gain a detailed understanding of their production and operation, project investment, innovation and research, product promotion, and so on, and encouraged the enterprises to strengthen their confidence, boost their enthusiasm, embrace new technologies, seize new tracks, and unleash new growth points.

At a meeting, Director Zhan Min listened in detail to the work report on economic and information technological development, scientific and technological development, and the work that had been done by the Administrative Committee of the Ningbo National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, fully affirmed the supporting role played by Ningbo in the stable growth of the province's industrial economy, and hoped that Ningbo would continue to exert efforts to further leverage the core strength of industrial counties (sub-cities and districts), promote the high-quality development of the province's industrial economy, and build a global advanced manufacturing base.

Zhan Min pointed out that we must make every effort to consolidate the good momentum of the industrial economy. At present, the industrial economy of the whole province is under pressure and striving forward. Ningbo should bravely take on the main role, highly focus on service empowerment, consolidate enterprise confidence, strengthen enterprise determination, and promote the stable and positive development of the industrial economy in the province. Secondly, we must make up our minds to focus on industrial investment. We must make every effort to seize major policy opportunities, combine with the actual situation in Ningbo, plan new ideas, play a good combination of multiple measures, and plan carefully and accurately. We should not only expand the quantity but also improve the quality, carefully compile a list of major projects, and effectively play the role of the parks as the main battlefield. Thirdly, we must fully leverage our advantages, effectively carry out the cultivation of high-quality enterprises, coordinate and promote the cultivation of high-tech enterprises, specialized and innovative "little giants", single product champions, eagle enterprises, world-class enterprises, etc., and continuously enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
