The Event for the Popularization of Regulations for Designated Salt Production and Wholesale Enterprises & Practical Training on Standardized Daily Supervision of Table Salt carried out by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau

To further strengthen the publicity and education of laws and regulations for designated salt production and wholesale enterprises, build a strong awareness of abiding by laws and regulations, effectively enhance the awareness of operating in accordance with laws and regulations, standardize the daily supervision process and requirements for designated salt enterprises, and create a safe salt consumption environment in our city, on October 25, a city-wide Event for the Popularization of Regulations for Designated Salt Production and Wholesale Enterprises & Practical Training on Standardized Daily Supervision of Table Salt were carried out by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau.

Bian Yijun, Research Consultant Level I from the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, made a mobilization for the opening of the training event. The event invited Lawyer Zhang Ke, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Shining Law Office, to interpret the "Table Salt Monopoly Measures" and the "MIIT Document No. 20 of 2023", and to give lectures and analysis on salt industry law enforcement and specific cases; in order to further standardize the implementation of the daily supervision functions of the salt industry authorities at all levels, the training event specifically provided detailed explanations of the current situation and key regulatory working content of the salt industry market in Ningbo, as well as the daily supervision and law enforcement processes. Standardized guidance was provided for the inspection records, inquiry records, rectification notices, report acceptance, case filing and transfer involved in the work, and various standardized forms were unified. Through this training event, the awareness of salt-related enterprises to standardize production and operate in accordance with relevant laws and regulations has been further enhanced; a platform for communication and exchanges between salt-related enterprises and regulatory departments has been established; mutual understanding and support have been enhanced, and a consensus on maintaining safe salt use has been reached, laying a solid foundation for our city to carry out the Action of "Government-Enterprise Joint Creation of Safe Salt Consumption Environment".
