Industrial cooperation for a win-win future - The Ningbo Meeting on the Communication of the Chemical Fiber New Material Industrial Chain & Sharing of Technological Trends held

In order to deepen the construction of the iconic textile and clothing industrial chain and promote cooperation between industry, education, and research in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, on October 29, under the guidance of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, the Ningbo Meeting on the Communication of the Chemical Fiber New Material Industrial Chain & Sharing of Technological Trends was held in the Ningbo University. This meeting was hosted by the Ningbo Textile Industry Association, undertaken by the Ningbo Textile and Clothing Intellectual Property Alliance and the Ningbo University Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Center. It brought together nearly 50 key manufacturing and brand enterprise leaders in chemical fibers, yarn fabrics, clothing and home textiles, as well as national research experts in relevant fields. At the same time, outstanding fabric entrepreneurs from outside the city were also invited to participate in the meeting.

At the meeting, a specific introduction was given to the research strength and achievements of the Ningbo University. Representatives of participating enterprises had in-depth exchanges on the overall situation, main products, market demand, effective experience, bottlenecks and difficulties, and ideas for production-chain collaboration respectively. Ji Peng, Secretary General of the Recycling Branch of China Chemical Fibers Association and a professor of the Donghua University, gave practical sharing on the background, innovation, and trends of textile fiber new materials, providing technical innovation, application thinking, market expansion, development trends, and product development ideas for participating enterprises.

After the meeting, the attending representatives expressed that the meeting was highly effective, building a platform for information sharing among upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry, promoting communication and cooperation among enterprises in the future.
