The 4th China (Ningbo) Software Summit & Programmers' Day (NBSS2024) event held

On November 1, the 4th China (Ningbo) Software Summit & Programmers' Day (NBSS2024) event, guided by the China Software Industry Association, and co-hosted by the Ningbo Software Industry Association and the Ningbo National High-tech Industrial Development Zone's Software Training Base (Software Talents' Innovation Base), was successfully held.

The theme of this year's 4th China (Ningbo) Software Summit & Programmers' Day (NBSS2024) event is "Gathering Digital Intelligence and Building Strong Power Momentum", with a focus on open source innovation, AI driven, data elements, etc.. The list of a batch of annual excellent enterprises, products, and programmers was released, and the Software Talents' Innovation Base project and openKylin Ningbo Urban Users' Group were established. The associations of Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai organized the signing of the Yangtze River Delta Open Source Cooperation Alliance, and the Zhejiang Big Data Trading Center landed in Ningbo.

At the event, deans and professors from the Shenzhen University, the Zhejiang University, and the Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, business leaders from leading companies such as Huawei and Kingdee, as well as scholars and experts such as the Secretary General of the Shanghai Open Source Information Technology Association and nationally renowned product managers, delivered keynote speeches on the development of the software industry, AIGC Reform, open source talents and innovation, and data-driven factors and so on. Officials from Zhejiang, Hangzhou, and Ningbo Software Associations exchanged ideas centering on the theme of "Talents' Innovation Base Supporting the Innovative Development of the Software Industry".

Faced with the opportunity of the current software industry entering a highly developed cycle, Ningbo will focus on five aspects in the next stage, namely enterprise training and strengthening, innovation and quality upgrading, regional cluster development, deepening integration and application, and prosperous industrial ecology. Ningbo will make breakthroughs in industrial software (embedded software), fully strengthen characteristic application software, plan and layout emerging technology software, and strive to promote software product research and development, graded cultivation of famous enterprises, creation of software famous parks, talent base construction, and optimization of development atmosphere, so as to promote the construction of a famous software city, famous software parks, famous software enterprises and famous software products to a higher new level.
