Bureau leaders visit the CMEF to carry out researches and provide services

From April 11 to April 14, 2024, the 89th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. To understand the latest development of the medical device industry, on April 12, Bian Yijun, Research Consultant Level I of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, led a team to visit the China International Medical Equipment Fair to investigate participating medical device enterprises from our city.

Bian Yijun and his delegation visited several local medical device enterprises, including the Kangda Intercontinental Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., the Xingaoyi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., the Ningbo Yongxin Optics Co., Ltd., and the Ningbo David Medical Device Co., Ltd. and so on. They visited the enterprise exhibition booths and related exhibits, and went to the provincial and municipal exhibition halls to visit the Ningbo exhibition area, exhibiting products covering fields such as medical imaging, medical electronics, medical consumables, and in vitro diagnostics, etc..

During the research visits, Bian Yijun gained a detailed understanding of the current production and operation situation and future development direction of the enterprises, listened to the development demands of the enterprises, and provided answers. He fully affirmed the practice of enterprises being brave in exploring and innovating, and actively expanding the market. He pointed out that enterprises should accurately grasp the situation, base themselves on the current industrial situation, optimize their development layout, focus on improving industrial innovation capabilities, accelerate industrial upgrading, vigorously promote the development of the medical device industry, and enhance the core competitiveness, comparative advantages, and comprehensive strength of the industrial chain.
