Ningbo Adds 7 New Provincial-Level Future Factory Pilot Enterprises

Recently, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang released the list of pilot enterprises for Future Factories in 2025. 7 companies from Ningbo successfully made the list, including the Ningbo Sanxing Smart Electric Co., Ltd., the Zhejiang Mustang Battery Co., Ltd., the Dong Fang International Container (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., the Forehope Electronic (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., the Ningbo Bull Electric Co., Ltd., the Ningbo Zhenyu Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and the Vremt Electric Vehicle Technology (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. This brings the total number of pilot enterprises in the city to 19, ranking the first in the Zhejiang Province.

Previously, 11 other pilot enterprises in the city had passed acceptance reviews. To date, the total number of Future Factory Enterprises (including pilot ones) in Ningbo has reached 30.

Since the beginning of this year, to promote enterprise benchmarking and accelerate the enhancement of intelligent manufacturing capabilities, Ningbo has issued the "Implementation Rules for the Gradient Cultivation of Smart Factories in Ningbo" and released the "Reference Guide for Typical Scenarios of 'AI + Manufacturing' in Ningbo". These initiatives emphasize "expanding coverage and improving quality" and the application of new technologies, establishing a gradient cultivation system for smart factories and supporting enterprises in building smart factories and future factories at different levels.

Moving forward, Ningbo will focus on the deep integration of artificial intelligence and manufacturing, creating a group of digital-intelligent benchmark factories through classification and tiered approaches. The city aims to build an industrial AI innovation hub with leading technology, rich application scenarios, and a superior ecosystem, injecting strong momentum into Ningbo’s urban digital-intelligent transformation and the establishment of a national new industrialization demonstration zone.
