The Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau Holds the Party Group (Expanded) Meeting to Convey, Study, and Implement the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China

On October 24, the Party Group of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau held an (expanded) meeting to specially convey and study the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and to research and deploy implementation measures. Zhang Shifang, Secretary of the Bureau's Party Group, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

It’s pointed out at the meeting that the "15th Five-Year Plan" period is a crucial time for consolidating the foundation and exerting comprehensive efforts to basically achieve socialist modernization, holding a significant position in connecting the past and the future within this process. General SecretaryXiJinping’s important speech made at the Plenary Session and the "Proposals" adopted by the Plenary Session highly appraise the major achievements made in China's development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, scientifically answer the directional and fundamental questions on how to ensure decisive progress in basically achieving socialist modernization during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and make top-level design and strategic deployments for the development in the coming 5 years. This fully demonstrates the foresight and historical responsibility of the CPC Central Committee with  Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, which is based on the present while looking to the future, and courageously shoulders the task of building on the past and forging ahead into the future, providing fundamental guidance and an action guide for advancing the modernization of China in the new journey by capitalizing on the momentum.

The meeting emphasized that the entire Bureau must deeply understand the risks and challenges currently facing the high-quality development of Ningbo's manufacturing industry, implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China through concrete actions, and serve and support the overall economic development of the city, the province and the nation with practical implementation measures. First, deepen study and comprehension to strengthen the foundation, and promote implementation through study. Studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is a major political task for the entire Party and the nation both currently and in the period ahead. Leveraging the "leading goose" style study by leading cadres and the "demonstration-promoted" study by Party branches, and through means such as special Party lectures, hierarchical seminars, and themed Party days, efforts should be made to ensure that the Plenary Session spirit is deeply ingrained in the heart and mind and reflected in actions, injecting political leadership into the Bureau's overall work, and ensuring the Plenary Session spirit to take root and yield practical results. Accelerate the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, promote the digital-green collaborative transformation and upgrading of traditional advantageous industries, improve the factor supply system, continuously foster emerging industries, establish and improve foresight and identification mechanisms for future cutting-edge technologies, and make forward-looking layouts for key future industrial tracks.
