In order to further promote the innovative development of the artificial intelligence industry in our city, optimize and improve the city's action plan and special policy content for the innovative development of artificial intelligence, the Ningbo Work Conference on the Innovative Development of Artificial Intelligence was held by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau on March 5. Zhou Ping, Chief Engineer and a member of the Party Group of the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

The Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau made a report on the drafting of the action plan and special policies for the innovative development of the city's artificial intelligence industry in the previous stage, and arranged for the cultivation of enterprise entities and the promotion and application of scenarios in the next stage. All localities made speeches for exchanges based on the action plan and the arrangement of key work for the next stage.

Chief Engineer Zhou Ping affirmed the achievements of artificial intelligence innovation and development work carried out in various regions since the beginning of this year, and put forward three pieces of requirement for the next stage of artificial intelligence innovation and development. Firstly, to enhance political stance and embrace the wave of artificial intelligence transformation with an active attitude. To deeply understand that artificial intelligence has become the core driving force of global technological revolution and industrial transformation, we must actively comply with the national strategic layout, seize development opportunities, and promote the high-quality development of our city's artificial intelligence industry with a high sense of responsibility and mission. Secondly, we must adhere to a problem-solving oriented approach and scientifically plan the direction of artificial intelligence development. Based on the actual situation of our city, we need to focus on the shortcomings such as weak software algorithm capabilities, low intelligence level of intelligent products, and few demonstration and leading projects. We need to implement precise policies, consolidate the computing infrastructure, strengthen the data and model technology layer, expand application scenarios and product layers, and build an artificial intelligence industrial system with Ningbo characteristics. Thirdly, to clarify key tasks and vigorously promote the innovative development of the artificial intelligence industry. We need to improve the top-level architecture and personnel allocation, establish a comprehensive statistical monitoring system, strive to create a national artificial intelligence manufacturing application base, accelerate the formation of a good situation of joint management and collaborative promotion throughout the city, and promote the widespread application and deep integration of artificial intelligence in various economic and social fields in the city.
