The "Ten Chains, One Hundred Events, Ten Thousand Enterprises" Open Source Software Special Session of the "Zhejiang Source Ecology" Series of Activities in 2025 & "NBopen Spark Exchanges on Source" Event held in Ningbo

In order to fully implement the spirit and requirements of strengthening the construction of the open source system in China, create an internationally influential open source community, and accelerate the construction of a local characteristic open source ecosystem, on April 7, 2025, the "Ten Chains, One Hundred Events, Ten Thousand Enterprises" Open Source Software Special Session of the "Zhejiang Source Ecology" Series of Activities in 2025 & "NBopen Spark Exchanges on Source" Event was held in Ningbo. This event was hosted by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang. Li Guanding, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Mayor of Ningbo Municipal People's Government, and Wang Zhongmin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, Deputy Director, and Counsel Level I of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang, attended the event and delivered speeches.

Li Guanding stated that Ningbo is building an open source system with sound open source infrastructure, strong open source industry, extensive open source applications, high-quality open source enterprises, reasonable talent structure, and prosperous international cooperation. He proposed four major measures, including deepening open source technology innovation, creating a vibrant open source community, deepening scene applications, and promoting open source talent cultivation. Wang Zhongmin pointed out that Zhejiang has a solid foundation in open source enterprises, open source communities, and open source talents, and has formed a favorable open source development ecology. The CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government have clearly stated that we should develop new productive forces according to local conditions and do a good job in the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation. At the event, industrial leaders and technical experts from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the OpenAtom Foundation, the School of Software Technology, Zhejiang University, the Huawei OpenHarmony Project Group Ecological Committee, the Geely Automobile Research Institute, the Tuya Intelligence and other units shared their experiences and professional views on topics of open source infrastructure, open source empowerment industry, open source talent cultivation, open source project practice, open source ecological construction, etc.. At the same time, the Ningbo city level open source community "NBopen" was officially launched, and the Ningbo Open Source Professional Committee was unveiled, marking a new stage in the construction of Ningbo's open source ecosystem.

In the future, Ningbo will continue to gather forces of government, industries, education, and research, deepen the collaborative mechanism of "code co-writing, technology co-research, and achievement sharing", inject innovative momentum into the high-quality development of Ningbo's digital economy, and contribute practical wisdom to China's construction of an open source power!
