To implement national decisions on enhancing industrial data security capabilities, promote the enforcement of key industrial data security standards, and accelerate the improvement of corporate awareness and capabilities in data protection, on June 6, a city-wide training conference on industrial data classification and tiered protection, along with the "AI Empowerment · Security for the Future—Ningbo Industrial Data Security Collaborative Innovation" ecosystem co-construction event, was held in Beilun.
Currently, data has become a core production factor driving industrial transformation. Industrial data security faces increasingly complex and severe risks, directly impacting the safety and stability of enterprises and industrial development. Laws and regulations such as the "Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Network Data Security Management Regulations" have established the foundational framework for data security governance. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China issued key documents including the "Data Security Management Measures for the Industrial and Information Technology Sectors (Trial)" and the "Implementation Plan for Enhancing Industrial Data Security Capabilities (2024–2026)", providing fundamental guidance for industrial data security efforts.
At the conference, the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center presented regional practices in industrial data classification and tiered protection, interpreted three industrial standards, including the "Guidelines for Identifying Important Data in Industrial Sectors", the "Industrial Data Security Risk Specifications", and so on, and guided enterprises in critical data identification, tiered protection, and risk assessment. Experts including Academician Chai Tianyou and Professor Tang Xiangmin, alongside representatives from security service providers like 360 Research Institute and manufacturing firms such as Midea Group, shared cutting-edge insights and practical experiences on topics like AI innovation and corporate data resource utilization.
During the event, the Ningbo Digital Security Industrial Base was officially launched. A roundtable discussion featured executives from Tuopu, Xusheng, Haitian, and other enterprises, who exchanged achievements and future plans in key areas like data security and AI, while collaborating with experts to address practical challenges and solutions for AI in industrial applications.
Over 150 attendees, including officials from district/county/subdistrict economic and information technology departments and representatives from key industrial enterprises, participated in the event.
