A Special Party Lecture on Deepening Implementation of the Central Eight-Point Regulation Held by the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau

To further advance the study and implementation of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, ensuring its principles are internalized and put into practice, in the afternoon of June 27, Party Secretary Zhang Shifang delivered a special lecture titled "Persistently Implementing the Central Eight-Point Regulation and Pioneering a New Phase of High-Quality Development with Fresh Achievements in Conduct Building". Over 120 Party members and cadres from the Bureau and its subordinate units attended the lecture.

Zhang Shifang elaborated on three key aspects, namely reviewing past achievements to strengthen resolve, recognizing the current situation to maintain vigilance, and persistently implementing the regulation with renewed momentum.He systematically outlined the historical evolution of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, explained its significance in depth, summarized the bureau’s solid achievements in its implementation, analyzed typical violation cases, and detailed the requirements for special campaigns targeting improper dining and gift or cash acceptance.He emphasized the need to recognize the persistent and recurring nature of the "Four Malfeasances" (formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism, and extravagance), enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency in education, and use cases as warnings to drive rectification and governance. This would strengthen self-discipline and build a strong defense against corruption.

Zhang Shifang stressed that conduct building determines the success of endeavors. He called for accurately fulfilling the mission of "pioneering high-quality development with fresh achievements in conduct building" and invigorating the spirit of dedication.He urged scientific planning, focusing on major projects, emerging sectors, and competitive industries to draft the “15th Five-Year” Plan. He advocated reform breakthroughs, launching initiatives to fulfill policies, transform inefficient land use, and apply AI technologies, etc.He emphasized practical action, enhancing closed-loop management, and advancing second-half tasks through project-based, checklist-driven, and milestone-oriented approaches to boost industrial and digital economy growth, contributing to "striving for excellence, creating benchmarks, and writing new chapters".
