The Publicity Center of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs partnered with CCTV to launch "A Photo for Anti-Japanese War Veterans" campaign in Ningbo

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Publicity Center of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs collaborated with CCTV News New Media Center to initiate "A Photo for Anti-Japanese War Veterans" campaign.In the morning of July 16, journalists from CCTV and Ningbo Evening News interviewed veteran soldier Zhang Yun, residing at the Chenghong Hospital, and took a family portrait for her with her six children.Veteran Zhang Yun shared her reasons for joining the military and her wartime experiences. She became deeply emotional when recounting her medical rescue missions during the Ji’nan Campaign, the Huaihai Campaign, the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign, and the Battle on Zhoushan Islands. She expressed her current happiness and extended special thanks to the Communist Party of China, the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, the Retired Veterans Bureau, and the Retired Cadres Management Service Center of the Industrial System. The Director of the Retired Cadres Management Service Center of the Industrial System presented her with flowers and blessings, wishing her good health and a happy life.
