To advance the national pilot program for digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises with high quality, ensure the timely and qualified completion and acceptance of pilot projects, and enhance coordination between city and county levels as well as experience exchanges, a promotion meeting for the SME digital transformation pilot program was held at the Municipal Administrative Conference Center on September 10. Tu Jiong, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
During the meeting, the Industrial Digitalization Division of the Ningbo Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau made a report on the progress of the city’s SME digital transformation pilot projects. It also outlined a weekly schedule for project acceptance throughout September. Representatives from local economic and information technology departments compared their progress with the targets, exchanged experiences and practices, discussed current advancements, and outlined future plans. They unanimously expressed their commitment to making a final push to achieve the pilot program’s goals.
Deputy Director Tu Jiong acknowledged the efforts made by all regions in the earlier stages. She also emphasized that September marks a critical phase for the pilot program, requiring concentrated efforts to ensure its successful completion: First, focus on the pilot objectives to ensure projects are completed on time and with quality. Each region should develop a weekly work plan, closely monitor the implementation progress of pilot projects, pay attention to "how many enterprises have achieved transformation and how deeply they have transformed", and pursue tangible results in quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. Second, focus on key steps to strengthen government-side coordination. Each region should scientifically and reasonably schedule acceptance batches, coordinating timelines for preliminary inspections by supervisors, submission of acceptance applications, and expert evaluations. Third, focus on enterprise needs and enhance project services. Each region should foster a service-oriented mindset, maintain close communication with key service providers and pilot enterprises, strengthen one-on-one guidance for enterprises in need, and promote deeper and more substantial digital transformation among more SMEs.
Approximately 30 participants attended the meeting, including representatives from the Industrial Digitalization Division, local economic and information technology departments, and pilot program supervision units.
