Ningbo "AI + Scenario Innovation" Series Event & Alibaba Cloud Computing Ecosystem Empowerment Matchmaking Meeting Held

To thoroughly implement the national "Guiding Opinions on Deepening the 'AI+' Initiative" (State Document No. 11, 2025) and accelerate the innovation of AI+ application scenarios in our city, the "AI+ Scenario Innovation" series event & Alibaba Cloud Computing Ecosystem Empowerment Matchmaking Meeting was successfully held at the Ningbo City Exhibition Hall in the afternoon of August 27, attracting over 90 participants from manufacturing enterprises, software companies, AI service providers, colleges and universities, scientific research institutes, and industrial associations. Through thematic presentations, technical training, and interactive exchanges, the event focused on empowering high-quality development in manufacturing, enhancing the intelligent development capabilities of software companies, fostering a collaborative AI innovation ecosystem, promoting the deep application of large models and AI Agent in manufacturing, supporting the digital and intelligent upgrading of the city's manufacturing industry, and accelerating the creation of an integrated innovation hub for "AI + Manufacturing".

During the thematic sharing session, Zhou Peifeng, the person in charge of the AI Research Institute at the Bull Group, shared the "Bull Group AI Practice Case" based on the company's practical experience. He detailed the company's practical explorations in large model application scenarios and the implementation of edge AI solutions, demonstrating feasible paths for manufacturing enterprises to achieve quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement through "AI+", thereby providing replicable AI case studies for local companies.

The Alibaba Cloud Computing’s AI experts shared insights on topics such as AI redefining corporate innovation, building data assets and innovating data applications in the AI era, and rapid development of AI agents. This aimed to help enterprises empower technological R&D innovation, breakthrough business models, and optimize production management through AI.

During the interactive exchanging session, representatives from manufacturing and software enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions with Alibaba Cloud Computing experts on topics such as the deployment of large models in enterprises, building high-quality datasets, and developing and implementing scenario-specific AI agents. This enhanced the understanding and application capabilities of AI technologies among local enterprises and clarified the paths and directions for AI-driven industrial upgrading.

The successful hosting of this matchmaking meeting established a platform for government-enterprise collaboration, industry-technology matchmaking, and ecosystem co-building, creating a positive atmosphere for AI-driven industrial innovation and development.For the next step, the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau will continue to work with relevant departments to accelerate key "AI+" initiative across multiple sectors in Ningbo, actively carry out the "AI + Scenario Innovation" series of events, adhere to scenario innovation driving industrial development, promote the implementation of more typical application scenarios, and continuously enhance enterprises' AI application capabilities and digital intelligence levels.
