The Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau Holds Summary Meeting on Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Eight-point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct

On September 19, the Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau held a Party Group (expanded) meeting to convey and study the important directives on thoroughly implementing the Spirit of the Eight-point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct. The meeting summarized the bureau’s efforts in thoroughly implementing the Central Eight-Point Decision spirit through educational activities. Zhang Shifang, Secretary of the Bureau’s Party Group, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting noted that since the launch of the educational activities, all Party members and cadres, under the leadership of the Bureau’s Party Group, have resolutely implemented the unified deployment of the CPC Central, Provincial, and Municipal Committees. They treated the educational activities as a key task in this year’s Party construction efforts,adheres to the promotion of study, inspection, rectification, and promotion. Not only were prescribed tasks completed, but the characteristics of the economy and information technology sector were also reflected. All Party members and cadres further enhanced their awareness and capabilities in entrepreneurship, tackling challenges, and serving the people through tempering of work conduct.

The meeting emphasized that conduct construction is always a work in progress. The strict tone, measures, and atmosphere must be maintained long-term to strive for a clean and upright political ecology. It is essential to strengthen the foundation of faith, continuously enhance theoretical empowerment, and keep studying important discourses on strengthening the Party’s conduct construction, as well as the Central Eight-Point Decision and its implementing rules spirit, to ensure the educational activities are deeply ingrained. Responsibilities must be tightened, closed-loop rectification deepened, institutional cages reinforced, and rectification outcomes solidified to shift rectification measures from "short-term effectiveness" to "normalized long-term effectiveness". Strict management and governance must be upheld to continuously build a strong defense against corruption, regularly employing warning education,talks and reminders, and daily supervision to send a strong signal of perseverance and strictness. The focus should remain on the central situation, continuously gathering strength for progress, grasping both hands and promoting both in educational activities and advancing central tasks, vigorously promoting the six diligence conduct, and transforming the outcomes of educational activities into momentum for entrepreneurship. This will vigorously promote the high-quality development of industry and the digital economy, contributing to "striving for excellence, creating models, and composing new chapters".
