Ningbo achieves new results in the implementation of the national standard for enterprise data management (DCMM) and the construction of the corporate Chief Data Officer (CDO) system

Recently, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang announced the list of pilot areas and pilot enterprises for the Zhejiang Provincial Enterprise Data Management National Standard (DCMM) implementation 2025, the outstanding list from the performance evaluation of the first and second batches of pilot areas, as well as the list of pilot enterprises and outstanding cases for the Zhejiang Provincial Chief Data Officer Initiative 2025. The Fenghua District and the Yuyao City were selected into the fourth batch of DCMM pilot areas, and 28 enterprises were selected into the third batch of DCMM pilot enterprises. The total number of pilot areas has reached 8, and the total number of pilot enterprises 91, maintaining the top position in the province. The Yinzhou District, the Beilun District, and the Cixi City were rated as outstanding in the pilot area performance evaluation. 11 enterprises were selected as provincial-level pilot enterprises for the CDO system construction, and 3 corporate managers were selected for outstanding individual case studies in the corporate CDO system construction.

In recent years, our bureau has deeply advanced the reform of industrial data valorization. We have actively promoted enterprises to carry out the implementation of the national standard for data management (DCMM), organized special training sessions on industrial data valorization, collected and promoted typical cases of industrial data valorization, promoted the establishment of the city-wide corporate Chief Data Officer Alliance, and compiled and released the Ningbo Corporate Chief Data Officer System Construction Guide, having promoted the enhancement of corporate data governance capabilities across multiple dimensions. For the next step, our bureau will focus on empowering the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry with artificial intelligence, further deepen the reform of industrial data valorization, leverage tasks such as corporate "intelligent transformation and digitalization" and the implementation of the national standard for data management (DCMM) to drive enterprises to actively create data value, focus on key tasks such as the construction of high-quality datasets and the cultivation of data application scenarios to promote the deep utilization of data by enterprises, actively promote the implementation guide for the Ningbo Corporate Chief Data Officer system, encourage enterprises to strengthen the cultivation of data talent teams, and continuously explore new paths for releasing data value and foster new drivers for the development of the digital economy.
