Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the construction of a green manufacturing system. To promote green manufacturing projects, formulate and organize the implementation of cleaner production promotion policies. To take the lead in implementation of tasks related to peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, and study and put forth as well as take the lead to implement schemes of the action related to peak carbon dioxide emissions in the manufacturing industry. To take the lead in capacity replacement, rectification and upgrading of the industries with high energy consumption and high pollution, and organize the elimination of backward and excess capacity with relevant departments. To cultivate and develop energy conservation and environmental protection industries and provide guidance for industrial energy conservation. To formulate and organize the implementation of policies on the comprehensive utilization of resources in the field of industry and information technology, and promote cleaner production and industrial circular economy.
